About Sarah

Sarah Pemberton is a teacher, a writer, and the founder of Write Now!. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. Sarah taught as a classroom teacher for Portland Public School District for 13 years and teaches Public Speaking and Composition Writing through Portland State University to students in China.

Sarah is a certified NLP coach/practitioner (nlppacific.com), an Amherst Writers and

Artists writing group leader (amherstwriters.com), and a trained life coach (marthabeck.com).

In 2012, Sarah began Write Now!, which offers after-school writer’s workshops, summer camps, tutoring, adult writing groups and coaching for students and parents. One of her passions is to watch people fall in love with writing as they find their voice and discover the endless creative possibilities writing opens to them.
